For the sauce:

mayonnaise

ketchup
½ tbsp
Worcestershire sauce

small dill pickle, finely chopped

garlic clove, finely grated
For the patties:
400 g
ground beef (25-30% fat for juicy burgers)
10 g
olive oil
50 g
cheddar cheese, sliced
Salt
Black pepper
For assembling the burgers:
2
burger buns
1 tbsp
butter
4
tomato slices
20 g
pickles
20 g
red onion
Instructions:
Prepare the sauce: In a bowl, mix all sauce ingredients and set aside.
Shape the patties: Divide the ground beef into two portions (200g each) and shape into round patties about 2 cm thick.
Cook the patties: Heat a pan over high heat, add olive oil, and cook the patties until browned on both sides. Season with salt and pepper (about 8-10 minutes, depending on your preferred doneness). While still hot, top with cheddar cheese slices.
Assemble the burgers:
Toast the buns in a pan with butter. Spread the homemade sauce on the bottom bun, then layer with tomato slices, red onion, the cheddar-topped patty, and pickles. Spread more sauce on the top bun and place it over the burger. Serve immediately!
