Chocolate sesame brittle

sesame seeds

chopped nuts (almonds, hazelnuts, walnuts)
1 tsp
orange zest
125 g

pinch sea salt flakes
Execution
Lightly toast the sesame seeds and chopped nuts in a nonstick pan over low heat for about 5 minutes, until golden and aromatic. Set aside.
Wipe the pan clean, then heat the honey over low heat until it starts to bubble gently (do not boil).
Add the sesame seeds and nuts to the honey and stir well. Cook for another 5 minutes until the mixture thickens.
Transfer the mixture to a parchment-lined 20x20 cm baking dish and flatten with a spoon. Sprinkle orange zest on top.
Melt the chocolate in a bain-marie or microwave and spread over the sesame mixture. Sprinkle with sea salt.
Let it cool completely (refrigerate for faster setting) and cut into bars or squares. Store in an airtight container.
