Execution
In a bowl, mix the flour, yogurt, and salt until a soft, elastic dough forms. Add more flour if needed.
In another bowl, mix mozzarella, halloumi, cream cheese, and thyme for the filling.
Divide the dough into 17 pieces (about 30g each). Flatten, add 1 tsp of filling in the center, and shape into sealed balls.
Arrange the balls on a baking tray lined with parchment paper to form a Christmas tree: 1 on top, then 2, 3, 4, 5, and finally 2 for the trunk. Let the balls slightly touch.
(Optional: sprinkle extra mozzarella between rows to create a pull-apart effect.)
Mix all topping ingredients and brush the tree.
Bake in a preheated oven at 190°C (fan) for 20–22 minutes until golden.
