Easy walnut cake with leftover breadcrumbs

breadcrumbs (from stale bread) (1 glass)

brandy (1 tbsp)
20 ml
rose water (1 tbsp)

Ceylon cinnamon (1 tsp)

chopped walnuts (1 glass)
For the syrup:
300 g
sugar (1 ½ glass)
300 ml
water (1 ½ glass)
Few drops of lemon juice
For serving:
Chopped walnuts
Vanilla ice cream
Whole walnut spoon sweet (glyko tou koutaliou)
Execution
Beat the oil with the sugar in a mixer.
Add the eggs and beat well on high speed.
Add the milk, breadcrumbs, vanilla, baking powder, brandy, rose water, and cinnamon. Mix well.
Stir in the chopped walnuts with a spoon.
Pour into a baking dish and bake in a preheated oven at 150°C for about 50 minutes (check doneness with a knife).
Boil the syrup for 5 minutes. Pour it hot over the cake immediately after baking.
Serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, a spoon sweet walnut, a bit of its syrup, and chopped walnuts on top.
