Crispy bananas with vanilla ice cream

panko breadcrumbs
For serving:

scoops vanilla ice cream
1 tbsp
icing sugar for dusting
Execution
Slice bananas diagonally into 1 cm pieces.
Set up plates: one with banana slices, one with cornstarch, one with beaten eggs, and one with panko.
Dip each banana slice into cornstarch, then egg, then panko. Place on a plate.
Heat oil to 175°C and fry 3–4 slices for 2–3 minutes until golden. Drain on a rack.
Dust with icing sugar and serve with vanilla ice cream scoops.
